Location: Easter Howgate

Grade UE06: £34,610 to £39,906 per annum; pro rata

College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences / School of Health in Social Science / Counselling, Psychotherapy and Applied Social Sciences

Part time: 10.5 hours per week (0.3

Fixed term: until 31 July 2027(Position is available from 28th September 2026)

The Opportunity:

This is a Research Co-ordinator post with the main responsibility being developing and running seminars and knowledge exchange/research collaboration events, and an annual conference.

Your skills and attributes for success:
  • Good knowledge of the drug research community in Scotland
  • Ability to design, organised and deliver knowledge exchange events in a range of environments.
  • Experience of working with drug policy stakeholders (including those with lived and living experience of drug use).

This post is advertised as fixed term part time, 1.5 days a week (0.3

FTE) role until July 2027. We are open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
