Administrator (Stock Control)
- Plevin & Sons is a UK market leader in wood recycling and a manufacturer of animal bedding.
We are looking to recruit a full-time Administrator (Stock Control) to join our busy Finance Team based at Whams Road, Crow Edge (Near Penistone) S36 4HG
, to provide accurate stock, production and weighbridge data reporting and control to the business and key suppliers.
- To report anomalies with the stock and weighbridge data to relevant departments and assist with resolving the issues.
- To produce weekly reports on suppliers.
- To run weekly stock
-take reports in Sage, distributing to the relevant managers and entering stock
-take results and reporting anomalies. - To carry out weekly stock reconciliations.
- To input information accurately and timely onto SAGE 200.
- To produce daily reports for the management team on the movement of stock throughout the group.
- Inputting and monitoring digital waste tracking information.
- To resolve credit control queries on invoices raised.
- To resolve queries on purchase ledger invoices relating to the mills.
- To provide cover for the transport administrator, by daily uploading weighbridge data into Sage and covering administration duties.
Key Skills/ Qualification
- Attention to detail is fundamental for this role
- Customer service focussed – helpful and friendly.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer literate – with a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Working knowledge of Sage 200 desirable.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday 09:00
-17:00 hours (with half hour break)
28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
