Womenswear RTW Freelance Fabric Manager / Fabric Sourcer
Magda Butrym is looking for a Freelance Fabric Manager/Sourcer to support our creative team in sourcing and selecting fabrics that align with our seasonal mood-boards and collection needs.
Key Responsibilities- Working closely with the Creative Director and design studio to understand the seasonal mood and material direction.
- Sourcing fabrics that match our creative vision, aesthetic, and technical requirements.
- Coordinating with fabric suppliers to request samples, prices, and lead times.
- Building and maintaining a small, curated fabric library for each season.
- Ensuring the timely delivery of fabric samples for the design and product development teams.
- Briefing production team on seasonal fabrics and supporting the department in communication with suppliers.
- Strong knowledge of textiles and fabric sourcing
- Organized, proactive, and good at communication
- Able to work independently as a freelancer
- No less than 4 years of experience working for leading fashion brands
- Understanding of Magda Butrym brand aesthetic
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Working proficiency in English
