• specific functions The associate professor selected will be employed at the Department of Law. The selected professor will be required to conduct scientific research and teaching activities consistent with the academic discipline field and in harmony with the main research areas of the University, research centers, and Schools, focusing on issues related to the protection of individuals in digital and financial markets, as well as the law of sustainable finance.
  
  He/She will have to be able to teach in both Italian and English. Teaching activities, supplementary teaching, and student services will total 350 hours annually, with 120 hours per year dedicated to classroom teaching for full-time positions, or 250 hours annually, with 90 hours allocated to classroom teaching for part‑time positions. The teaching activities will be carried out as part of the academic programs of the undergraduate, single‑cycle, and graduate degree courses at the University, and will include conducting lectures, exercises, theoretical‑practical activities, assistance with exams, and any teaching assignments given as part of institutional duties, according to regulations and legal limits.
  
  The teaching will be carried out with reference to the academic discipline field (GIUR-03/A – Economics Law).

In particular, the specific functions will focus on the following topics:

• Consumer protection in the financial market, with particular reference to the use of digital and automated techniques for the provision of products and services;
• The relationship between public and private law in regulated markets;
• Financial markets and sustainable development.
