Internship Opportunity:
Front Office and Administration Assistant at Pingu’s English Firenze and Centro Alab
Pingu’s English Firenze is an educational space specializing in English language learning. Our courses are designed for all ages, with a focus on spontaneous, natural, and fun language acquisition. Since September 2025, our second school in Sesto Fiorentino has been located inside the Centro Alab facility, a rehabilitation centre dedicated to neurocognitive and motor development.
Sesto Fiorentino, just a few kilometres outside of Florence, is easily reachable by both train and bus.
We are currently seeking front office and administration interns to join our team and take part in this exciting new collaboration. This is a great opportunity not only to perfect your Italian skills but also to gain hands‑on experience in administrative work, customer service, and the daily operations of an international language school. You will work in a dynamic, multicultural environment where you will meet people of all ages and backgrounds.
KeyRisponsibilities
- Greeting and accompanying both Pingu’s English students and Alab patients
- Assisting the front desk with customer information and inquiries
- Supporting teaching staff in preparing lesson materials and classroom resources
- Substituting Pingu’s English lessons when needed (training provided)
- Helping with classroom organization and maintaining a safe learning environment
- Assisting with promotion and organization of events, open days, and workshops
- Managing basic administrative tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and communication
- Ensuring a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all
- Full training and ongoing support
, including observation opportunities and pedagogical guidance - A multicultural and inclusive working environment
, with staff from many different countries - Practical experience in front office management, customer relations, and educational services
- The possibility to improve both Italian and English in a real professional setting
- Opportunities to develop skills in teaching support, classroom management, and event coordination
- A certificate of internship completion and reference letter upon request

- Enthusiastic, responsible, and motivated students or recent graduates (preferred fields:
Languages, Communication, Education, International Relations, Psychology
, or related areas) - A strong interest in customer service, administration, and educational environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional attitude
- Language requirements:
- English level B2 (required)
- Italian level B1 (required)
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment and interact with families, children, and staff members
- Good organizational skills and a willingness to learn office procedures
- Experience in customer‑facing roles or working with children is appreciated but not mandatory
