Teaching Assistant at Pingu’s English Firenze
Pingu’s English Firenze is an educational space specializing in English language learning. Our courses are designed for all ages, with a focus on spontaneous, natural, and fun language acquisition. From our International Kindergarten to Afternoon Tots courses, Cambridge English programs, creative workshops, and our immersive Summer Camps
, we help children grow linguistically, cognitively, and socially in a fully English‑speaking environment.
We are currently seeking Teaching Assistant Interns to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in education, language teaching, and child development while working in a dynamic, international environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist lead teachers in delivering engaging English language lessons and activities
- Help prepare teaching materials and classroom resources
- Encourage students’ participation, creativity, and language development
- Ensure a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
- Actively participate in special events such as Summer Camps, Holiday Camps, and Themed Workshops
- Practical classroom experience in an international educational setting
- Mentorship from experienced educators and course coordinators
- Opportunities to learn innovative teaching methods and child‑centered approaches
- A dynamic, multicultural, and supportive work environment
- Experience across a wide range of age groups and learning contexts, including seasonal camps
- Enthusiastic, responsible, and motivated students or recent graduates (Education, Linguistics, Languages, Psychology, or related fields preferred)
- Strong interest in teaching, early childhood education, and/or language acquisition
- Excellent communication skills and a patient, caring attitude
- Language requirements:
- Italian is a plus, but not required
- Experience working with children is appreciated, but not mandatory
