As part of organizational development, for its international projects, Webuild is seeking a Site Engineer reporting to Construction Management.
RoleThe candidate will be involved in managing the technical/administrative aspects of production in accordance with specifications and contractual plans, as well as planning and monitoring the execution of works. He/she will assist the Project/Construction Manager in managing the contract, defining and organising all activities related to the development and implementation of the project, meeting the requirements imposed by contractual conditions and technical specifications.
Mainresponsibilities
- Implement the working methods approved by the Construction Manager;
- Implement quality, environment and safety plans;
- Supervise and monitor the activities of both direct and subcontracted production personnel on site, in agreement with the Construction Manager;
- Organise all activities related to the construction of the work;
- Prepare operational plans and the necessary resources, verifying the achievement of the objectives defined by the Construction Manager, in compliance with contractual requirements and technical specifications;
- Support the drafting of operational methods and technical/administrative practices entrusted to the technical office in collaboration with the Designer;
- Check the work and record the tests performed;
- Stop any work that does not comply with the contractual specifications;
- Collaborate with the QA Manager, HS Manager, Environmental Manager and Sustainability Manager in proposing solutions to non-conformities;
- Contribute to the implementation of defined corrective actions;
- Propose appropriate measures to prevent the recurrence of non-conformities.
Education:
Degree in Engineering or Architecture;
Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in the construction sector in similar roles and on projects of significant size and complexity;
Languages:
Advanced English (oral and written communication with international clients).
