• Design, develop, and operate Java-based backend services that power our e-commerce and logistics platforms
• Own features end-to-end from architecture to deployment and monitoring in AWS
• Optimize our systems for performance, scalability and availability, especially in high-traffic situations like Black Friday
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, Dev Ops) to deliver the best customer experience
• Bring in your ideas to shape our technical landscape, challenge the status quo, and support our continuous improvement culture
• Mentor junior engineers and help elevate engineering standards across the team

• At least 5 years of hands‑on backend development experience, ideally in Java (Spring Boot preferred)
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures and AWS services (e.g. ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, Dynamo
  
  DB)
• Solid understanding of microservices, event-driven systems, and RESTful API design
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Git Hub Actions, Terraform)
• Strong sense of ownership and quality: you write clean, tested, maintainable code and think beyond just "getting it done"
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team spirit
• Previous work in agile, cross-functional product teams
• Fluent in English;
  German is a strong plus

• Experience in ecommerce or logistics environments
• Familiarity with observability tools like New Relic or Grafana
