Senior IT Infrastructure Specialist

Exciting opportunity in Yinson Production AS

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer to manage the stability, performance, and security of our IT infrastructure. This is a Tier-3 role requiring expertise in VoIP alongside strong Microsoft ecosystem management (Exchange Online, Active Directory, Certificate Management etc.).

You will bridge the gap between on-premises and cloud solutions while driving automation initiatives.

• Administer and troubleshoot enterprise voice systems, specifically Session Border Controllers (SBCs), PABX/VoIP solutions, and the Microsoft Teams Phone ecosystem.
• Manage relationships with global telecom providers for trunking and number management.

• Manage Exchange Online (mail flow rules, retention policies, archiving)
• Manage third-party integrations with Exchange Online for backup and archiving
• Manage Active Directory services
• Support hybrid identity environments (Azure AD Connect/Entra ) and ensure secure IAM workflows.

• Manage the lifecycle of internal and external SSL/TLS certificates, aiming for fully automated renewal processes.
• Manage Windows and Linux based servers
• Write, maintain, and version-control Power Shell scripts to automate provisioning, configuration management, and reporting.
• Leverage AI/LLM tools to optimize scripts, accelerate troubleshooting, and improve operational workflows.

• Provide Tier-3 technical support for complex infrastructure issues.
• Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation for architecture, configurations, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Travel globally when required to support Yinson Production’s international operations.

• 7+ years in IT Infrastructure
• Deep technical knowledge of SBC platforms (specifically Cisco CUBE, Audio Codes, or Ribbon) and SIP protocol analysis.
• Enterprise-level experience with Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Certificate management and Microsoft Teams
• Advanced proficiency in Power Shell scripting
• Professional proficiency in written and verbal English.
• Ability and willingness to work independently in a multi-cultural, global environment.
• Experience troubleshooting Linux-based appliances or servers.
• Exposure to observability & monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, Solar Winds, etc.).
• Experience in Shipping, Oil & Gas, or similar heavy industries.
