Job Scope

Lead of the Immuno Global Operations (IGO) Center of Excellence (CoE) dedicated to AI

Exploration, evaluation and implementation of emerging technologies in AI/ML domain, supporting Diasorin’s Immuno Operations.

This role combines strategic thinking, technical expertise, and cross‑functional collaboration to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency, product quality, and sustainability.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Technology Scouting & Evaluation: Research market trends and emerging AI technologies, assessing their feasibility and impact on Diasorin’s industrial processes.
• Use Case Identification & Prioritization: Collaborate with business units to identify high‑impact AI use cases and prioritize based on strategic value and ROI.
• Process Optimization: Design and implement strategies to integrate new technologies that streamline processes, enhance efficiency, reduce energy consumption and improve product quality
• Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with functional stakeholders, including Site Leaders and Department Heads, to translate business needs into technical requirements, apply lean principles and promote technology adoption through solid business cases.

  Work closely with cross‑functional teams, including Production, EHS, Quality Assurance and IT, to ensure successful technology deployment.
• Data Strategy & Governance Support: Define best practices for data acquisition, preparation, quality, labeling, and governance to enable scalable AI development.
• Prototyping & Project Leadership: Lead pilot projects and design experiments to test the effectiveness and efficiency of new technologies, from concept to implementation and evaluation.

Create standardized methodologies for developing, validating, and monitoring AI/ML models across different business applications (e.g., predictive maintenance, demand forecasting, quality prediction).

• Strategic Planning & Budgeting: Support Top Management short/mid/long term investment decisions and contribute to the long‑term strategic plan for AI.
