LPN – Pediatrics

Monday - Friday

Full-time position

• Current NYS LPN license
• Minimum of 1 year experience as an LPN
• Pediatrics experience required
• BLS certification (AHA or RQI only)

• Coordinate patient flow from registration through discharge to minimize wait times and ensure efficient care delivery.
• Perform nursing assessments, obtain and document vital signs, and complete quality metrics in the EMR.
• Prepare patients for office visits by gathering relevant provider notes and laboratory results.
• Assist providers with office-based procedures, examinations, and patient care.
• Schedule office visits, surgical procedures, and diagnostic studies while obtaining necessary prior authorizations.
• Provide education and guidance to patients regarding their health conditions and care needs.
• Manage patient phone calls and communicate clinical concerns to providers.
• Coordinate prescription refill requests and monitor laboratory results.
• Conduct various clinical tests including pulmonary function testing, EKGs, phlebotomy, and vaccine administration.
• Recognize and respond to medical emergencies in accordance with established protocols.
