Certified Nursing Assistant – Long-Term Care

37.5 hours per week, with breaks included.

One year of previous long-term care experience or nursing assistant experience is required.

• High School Diploma or GED
• NYS Nursing Assistant Certification
• BLS Certification (AHA or RQI)
• Experience in providing care to adult and geriatric patient groups

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as outlined in the plan of care.
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for residents.
• Ensure residents' nutritional needs are met and their preferences are honored.
• Provide rehabilitative care in accordance with the plan of care.
• Report any changes in residents' physical, emotional, or psychosocial status promptly.
• Adhere to policies and procedures regarding safety and resident rights.
