The researcher will develop innovative methods and systems for hologram projection using phase and/or amplitude modulators. The research activity will focus on studying the characteristics of commercially available devices in order to optimise their performance in terms of image quality, frame rate and polychromaticity, obtained using light sources corresponding to the primary colours. Image quality will be measured using parameters established in scientific literature and any specific parameters designed to optimise images in relation to their application for the development of smart glasses.
