The research activity will concern quantum probability and statistics, quantum channels, semi groups of completely positive linear maps with their applications in quantum computing and information. This activity will take place in collaboration with the Department groups. The winner of the selection must also participate in seminars, conferences and scientific meetings in the context of the aforementioned research. The winner of the selection will carry out teaching and tutoring activities on topics related to the field of Probability and Mathematical Statistics.

Italian or foreign applicants, who have a PhD or equivalent qualification, obtained in Italy or abroad are admitted to selection process. In addition, in the past 5 years, they must have authored, co-authored, or edited a number of publications, accepted texts, essays included in collections, and articles published in print or digital journals equal to or exceeding the minimum required number of 9, excluding internal notes or departmental reports.
