The research activity is focused on the development of sustainable process-chains for the zero-defect remanufacturing in the electronics sector, considering data availability through the Digital Product Passport.
The foreseen activities include the development of product data models conforming with the guidelines of the Digital Product Passport (DPP). The decentralized architecture of the DPP will enable the in line acquisition of product data. This will make it possible to develop new concepts of remanufacturing cyber-physical systems, able to elaborate the gathered product data and adapt the process to handle the high variability of post-use product conditions.
The experimental activity will aim at validating the developed solutions within the Eco-CIRC laboratory.
