The project will be aimed at the development and the realization of innovative electrochemical sensors for the selective determination of compounds of medical, biological or environmental interest or for food monitoring. The researcher will be responsible for the design and fabrication of the electrochemical devices which may be potentiometric, amperometric, impedimetric or transistor-based. The aim of the research will also be the realization of wearable devices or devices suitable for field measurements.
Particular attention will be paid to the validation of the developed devices, through the use of independent analytical techniques.
