The goal is to develop new concepts in the physiology and pathophysiology of brain diseases, enhancing the modelling framework and publishing results in high‑impact scientific journals.
Responsibilities- Develop detailed computational models of cerebellar neurons.
- Simulate neural activity and analyze the impact of molecular layer interneurons on Purkinje cells.
- Investigate the role of synaptic plasticity in granular and molecular layers.
- Examine pathological conditions such as multiple sclerosis, autism, and schizophrenia.
- Publish findings in high‑impact scientific journals.
- PhD or equivalent in a related research field.
- Experience in computational modelling and use of the NEURON simulator.
