AboutOur Team
We are a diverse, inclusive team expanding in the European renewable energy market. As an On‑Site Specialist, you will be Thundersoft’s "on‑the‑ground pioneer" in Italy: through proactive on‑site visits, you will connect with SMEs and business owners to lay a solid foundation for our market penetration.
Key Responsibilities- On‑Site Customer Development
:
Immerse yourself in the local context (Northern/Central Italy) to conduct door‑to‑door visits, cold calls, and on‑site promotions. Focus on renewable energy SMEs (e.g., small‑scale photovoltaic installation companies) and business owners with project needs. - Visit KPIs
:
Fulfill tasks per the company plan—
core requirement:
Successfully complete 15‑20 on‑site visits to target customers within your first month
. - Relationship Building & Presentations
:
During visits, present product benefits (photovoltaic storage, VPPs) and collaboration models, gather customer needs, and establish initial contacts. - Market Insights
:
Collect local trends (e.g., photovoltaic policies), competitor dynamics, and customer feedback; submit regular reports. - Conversion Support
:
Follow up with potential customers and coordinate with internal teams to drive small‑scale collaboration projects.
- Languages
:
Native‑level Italian or C2 proficiency (mandatory); fluent English is a plus (ability to convey professional information accurately). - Experience
:
Proven track record in on‑site business development (mandatory door‑to‑door/cold call experience); renewable energy/electrical equipment industry experience preferred. - Traits
:
Outgoing personality, strong communication skills, ability to build trust quickly; resilience to handle rejection and adapt strategies.
- Proficiency in on‑site skills (customer targeting, quick response to questions); ability to manage high‑frequency visits.
- Knowledge of local business culture and procedures (Northern/Central Italy): understanding SME working hours and negotiation habits.
- Basic product knowledge (photovoltaic storage, VPPs) to answer simple technical questions.
- Time management:
Plan visit routes, meet KPIs, and avoid unproductive on‑site visits.
