RINA is currently recruiting for a Software Application Engineer to join its office in Genova within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division.

RINA Consulting is looking for a Software Engineer to produce and implement software solutions in defence framework. Our personnel assist in the preparation of design calculations, drafting, technical specifications, reports, and other necessary tasks. Additionally, they utilize computer-assisted engineering and design software, perform fieldwork, and ensure adherence to safety procedures.

• Software Development:
  Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure software applications; write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to software development best practices; collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements and implementation plans.
• Testing and Deployment:
  Write automated tests to ensure the quality of applications and enhance test coverage; debug the implemented application software; support the V&V team during testing and validation activities for defect analysis; analyze and solve detected problems implementing the needed corrections.
• Documentation:
  Document sw requirements, design decisions, APIs, and implementation details; maintain technical documentation and diagrams related to the software applications.
• Support and Maintenance:
  Provide technical support to customers and internal teams as needed; debug and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends; identify and propose improvements to existing software applications and development processes; actively participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software applications; communicate technical concepts and ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
