To support our fast-growing company, we are looking for Transport Planner.
The Inbound Transport Planner is responsible for planning, organizing, and monitoring the transportation of inbound goods. The role involves liaising with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure the efficient and cost-effective transportation of materials.
Responsibilities:- Create and manage transportation plans based on schedules and internal capacities.
- Communicate with suppliers and carriers to arrange shipments and ensure timely delivery.
- Monitor and control transportation costs, negotiating with carriers to obtain the best rates.
- Track and trace shipments, ensuring visibility and timely updates to stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve transportation issues, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies.
- Ensure all transportation activities comply with relevant regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, including invoices, packing lists, and customs documentation.
- Analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Work closely with Grand handlers, and warehouse teams to align transportation plans with overall supply chain objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, strong communication skills, attention to detail, proficiency in transportation management software and Microsoft Office.
- Professional certifications in logistics or supply chain management are advantageous.
- Open minded for new challenges and eager to learn;
- Available to work flexible shifts, including 7:00-16:00, 15:00-24:00, and weekends.
