Senior Health Planner – HDR

This role supports a growing health practice and continues that legacy.
- Provide planning, design, and coordination support on projects and pursuits.
- Engage in problem solving, teamwork, critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and visualization to create accurate and detailed drawings.
- Prepare drawings and specification documents.
- Research, plan, design, and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning, building codes, and building materials.
- Understand healthcare trends and prepare health‑planning presentation drawings, diagrams, and narratives.
- Assist the coordination of all disciplines related to building design and health planning.
- Mentor junior staff or interested colleagues in health‑planning practices.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in Health Architecture.
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Health Planning.
- Architectural registration.
- Strong computer skills (AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, MS Office, Blue Beam).
- Advanced credentials desired (e.g., ACHA, LEED, EDAC, AICP).
- Willingness to travel.
- Knowledge and experience of healthcare architecture planning and design.
- Capability to make client presentations.
- Leadership and management skills required.
- Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and flexible.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or closely related field.
- A minimum of 12 years of related experience.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in building construction.
- Understanding of design techniques, tools and principles for precision technical plans, prints, drawings, and models.
