Responsibilities- Lead a due diligence and planning program with multidisciplinary teams delivering site selection, fatal flaw analysis, due diligence, and master planning for mission‑critical data centers and advanced facilities.
- Oversee disciplines including project managers, planners, utility engineers (power, natural gas, fiber, water, wastewater), civil engineers for test fits, wet‑dry utilities, grading, drainage, and regulatory entitlements.
- Develop and maintain program tools for governance, staff onboarding, forecasting, KPI tracking, resource allocation, and hiring.
- Create program templates, tools, and collaboration sites for consistent, efficient program execution.
- Direct project staff and lead site selection, due diligence, and master planning efforts as program leader or project manager.
- Provide project and task management, conduct complex process engineering, collect, assimilate and present data in reports, and lead preparation of planning documents, engineering plans and specifications for major land development projects.
- Communicate orally and in writing; demonstrate leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Implement client engagement and client‑management planning, define strategies for business growth with key industrial clients.
- Accountable to clients, internal leadership, and project stakeholders for overall program success.
- Track and implement internal business management skills: proposal/fee development, resource and cost tracking, QA/QC.
- Travel up to 30% of time.
- BS degree in engineering, construction management, planning, sciences, business administration, or a closely related field.
- 10+ years of experience in engineering or project management.
- 2+ years of program management experience.
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- Significant land development experience; site selection and due diligence experience.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary projects including civil engineering, entitlements, utility consulting, interconnection, environmental and permitting, subcontractor management (surveying, geotechnical).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Planning and budgeting experience.
- Staff management, mentoring, general leadership skills.
- Strong internal business management skills.
- Desired:
Experience developing programs; proven program‑management track record; proficient with online collaboration tools (Teams, Google Drive, Chime, Web Ex, Skype); certified project/program management professional, licensed professional engineer or certified planner; current relationships with due diligence professionals (A/E firms, GCs, developers).

The expected compensation range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 depending on skills, experience, education and location.
