Job Title: Financial Operations Analyst
Location: Pennington, NJ (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote; initial training onsite 5 days)
Contract | Pay Rate: Up to $24/hr

Join our Cost Basis Team within Tax Reporting Operations to support accurate processing and reporting of securities transactions. This role ensures that cost basis and tax lot records are maintained and updated accurately in accordance with IRS regulations. You’ll handle branch inquiries, research discrepancies, and support timely and accurate reporting.

• Process routine and moderately complex financial operations transactions.
• Research and resolve cost basis discrepancies and transactional breaks.
• Review and update tax lot records in the Global Tax Lots system.
• Respond to branch inquiries and requests submitted via service portals and email.
• Ensure compliance with IRS rules, regulations, and reporting standards.
• Generate reports, perform data entry, and support other operations activities as needed.

• 1+ year of experience in financial operations, brokerage operations, or a related role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and escalate complex issues appropriately.

• Experience with cost basis, tax reporting, or securities operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to support overtime during peak Tax Season (Jan–Apr).
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
