We are seeking an experienced No

SQL Database Administrator (DBA) to support the design, deployment, and maintenance of No

SQL database clusters in a UNIX/Linux environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in No

SQL platforms (e.g., Mongo

DB, Cassandra, Redis, Cockroach

DB, MemSQL) and UNIX shell scripting, with a focus on automation, performance tuning, and production support in a high-volume environment.

• Administer and maintain No
  
  SQL database clusters in Linux environments across development, QA, and production.

• Design and automate database deployment and maintenance using UNIX shell scripting.

• Debug and tune database performance; optimize operational and CI/CD processes.

• Support database upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning initiatives.

• Utilize Dev Ops tools like Blade Logic (and ideally Ansible) to automate database administration tasks.

• Provide database access, support schema changes, and ensure role-based security.

• Collaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, and production support to ensure database availability and efficiency.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while proactively enhancing database performance and resilience.

• 5+ years of UNIX/Linux systems administration experience.

• 2+ years of experience with No
  
  SQL or SQL database technologies, including administration and operational support.

• Strong hands-on experience with at least one or more of the following:

  • Mongo
    
    DB, Cassandra, MemSQL, Redis, Cockroach
    
    DB, TigerDB

• Proficiency in shell scripting for automation and maintenance.

• Experience managing No
  
  SQL clusters, including:

  • Node management, replication, multi-DC setups, performance tuning

• Familiarity with backup/recovery strategies, role/access management, and database monitoring.

• Strong communication skills; able to explain complex technical concepts to varied stakeholders.

• Experience in high-volume, enterprise-grade environments is highly preferred.

• Experience with Blade Logic, Ansible, or other Dev Ops tools.

• Previous work with CI/CD environments and automation of No
  
  SQL deployment pipelines.
