Devops Engineer

10 is currently seeking a Dev Ops Engineer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

• Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the automated infrastructure and deployment pipelines that power our enterprise applications
• Bridge the gap between development and operations
• Accelerate software development lifecycle (SDLC) by automating manual processes, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring 99.9% system uptime through robust monitoring and site reliability engineering (SRE) practices
• Design and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Cloud Formation, or Ansible to ensure consistent and reproducible environments
• Build and optimize end-to-end deployment pipelines using Harness, Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or Git Lab CI to enable rapid, low-risk releases
• Architect and maintain scalable environments on AWS, Azure, or GCP, utilizing services like EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE)
• Implement Dev Sec Ops  practices, including automated security scanning, secrets management (Hashi Corp Vault), and IAM policy enforcement
• Set up proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog
• Partner with development teams to troubleshoot deployment issues and improve application performance and reliability

• 3-7 years of experience in Dev Ops, Cloud Engineering, or System Administration
• Cloud Platforms:
  Proficient in AWS (preferred), Azure, or GCP
• IaC Tools:
  Expert-level knowledge of Terraform or Ansible
• CI/CD Platforms:
  Hands‑on experience with Harness (preferred), Jenkins, or Git Hub Actions
• Strong experience with Kubernetes (Helm charts, ingress controllers, networking)
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for automation tasks
• Solid understanding of VPCs, Subnets, Load Balancers, DNS, and SSL/TLS
