Quality Assurance Consultant

Role Overview

Genesis
10 is seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant for a 12+ month contract in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX, and Pennington, NJ. Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis
10 employees will be considered for this position.

• 5+ years overall hands‑on testing experience, including some within Agile environments
• Functional and integration testing experience
• Ability to develop testing strategy, test plans, test cases, and test data
• Willingness to work closely with development, business, and UAT partners
• Experience with trading or order management is highly desirable
• Experience testing in financial services industry
• Experience with test automation is highly desirable
• Functional testing in an Agile environment
• Database query understanding
• Good understanding of JIRA

• Ability to learn quickly, ask questions as needed, and work independently
• Experience with ALM Octane, unit testing, and/or service level testing is desirable

$49.37 - $57.37 per hour
