Terr Ascend NJ is currently hiring for unarmed security guards for our medical marijuana dispensary. The primary responsibility for Security personnel is to ensure the safety of all patients and employees at the designated dispensary location.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor surveillance cameras to identify disruptions and monitor people in the dispensary.
  • Ensure that health, safety, and security standards are followed.
  • Perform safety and regulatory audits.
  • Welcome and check in patients, caregivers, and visitors at the dispensary.
  • Complete the required state-mandated training program.
Experience & Qualifications
  • Active NJ state Sora Card (Green or Red)
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • At least 1 year of security experience required
  • Law enforcement or military experience preferred.
  • Bilingual or Multilingual is a plus.

$23 - $23 an hour

Physical Requirements
  • Stand constantly
  • Walk frequently
  • Reach and twist/turn with hands and arms
  • Climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus
Background Check Requirement
