Project Accountant

In this role, you’ll be a key partner to our project management team, helping maintain accurate financial records across multiple projects and ensuring smooth financial operations from start to finish. This position offers a hybrid schedule, with two days in the office each week, giving you flexibility while staying connected to a team that depends on your financial insights.

$75,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr

• Prepare and submit AIA documentation for owner billings, including all required support
• Review and process subcontractor payment applications
• Review and enter owner billings, job budget modifications, subcontractor invoices, purchase orders, and related items
• Maintain all accounting records in an accurate and timely manner
• Monitor and assemble subcontractor and vendor invoices, insurance certificates, releases, and compliance materials
• Ensure all contract compliance requirements are met
• Audit and reconcile job cost details and update job budgets
• Assist with project close‑out
• Prepare sales tax returns
• Manage month‑end close, including bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
• Maintain the general ledger

• Minimum 2-year degree in Accounting or a related field;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least 2 years of proven construction accounting experience, including AIA documentation
• Experience with Procore, Spectrum, and Excel preferred
• Ability to work on‑site as required for the hybrid schedule
