Full Charge Bookkeeper - Temp to Hire
Our client in Pennsauken, New Jersey is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a Temp to Hire position, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, in person. Pay range is $27.50–$32.50 per hour, based on experience.
Base Pay Range$27.50/hr - $32.50/hr
Responsibilities- Processing sales orders, invoicing, billing, petty cash, credit card payments, collections
- Perform all monthly reconciliations promptly, including all bank, credit card, and vendor statements, as well as quarterly and year-end reconciliations
- Ensuring accurate record keeping in Quick Books using the proper general ledger information
- Preparation of Sales Tax Returns
- Preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports
- Processing of payroll
- Notify senior management of any accounting errors
- File and maintain office records
- Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval to enter into Quick Books
- Enters payables into Quick Books
- Invoices customers into Quick Books and maintains billing control schedules in Excel
- Produce 1099’s at year-end
- Receives and processes supplies orders, enters order purchases into Quick Books within 24 hours of receipt
- Enters the payable and customer invoice within five business days.
- Monitors open supply orders daily.
- Monitor and reconcile bank balances
- Answers all vendor and customer inquiries
- Maintain accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate accounts payable files
- Process bank deposits as required
- Prepares analysis of accounts, as required
- Perform filing and copying.
- High School Diploma with considerable work experience in accounting and bookkeeping, minimum
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance/Business Administration, or related major preferred
- 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, customer service, and managerial experience.
- 3+ years of experience in Quick Books
- 3+ years of experience in Full charge bookkeeping (Required)
- Knowledge of administrative practices and procedures, data management methods, accounting practices
- Mid‑Senior level
- Full‑time
