Job is a 10‑month position. Terms & conditions per union contract.

• Operate audio‑visual equipment
• Assist with the production of bulletin boards and displays
• Assist with special projects; assist with classroom housekeeping chores
• Correct tests and homework; help absentees make up assignments
• Assist the teacher with drill work; help individual students with their work
• Check seat work; cover classrooms, study halls, etc. as needed
• Classroom duties per discretion of teacher
• Assist with lunchroom coverage; assist corridor coverage; assist playground coverage
• Monitor students during lunch and/or playground times
• Assist with the checkout of library materials; organize and distribute materials
• Assist with assemblies and special programs; accompany classes on field trips
• Meet and greet visitors in the main office
• Operate various kinds of office equipment

• High School Diploma or GED
• 60 college credit hours preferred
• Must pass the New Jersey Criminal History Review Unit Fingerprinting requirement
• New Jersey State residency requirement in effect

• $22,006 yearly, terms & conditions of employment per union contract
• 10‑month position
