POSITION SUMMARY
Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures. Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSWork with manufacturing and support engineering and automation teams to implement process improvements to production lines.
- Participate in design of new manufacturing lines, packaging equipment, site building expansion, utilities, and safety regulatory.
- Manage suppliers through design, build, installation, and qualification phases of the project.
- Manage change operations as required.
- Communicate with various departments, external customers, or directly associated with assigned task/projects (verbal and written).
- Produce the product of requested tasks in the form of components, assemblies, drawings, and data.
- Manage entire projects from concept design through production startup. Handles administration to include files, proposals, reports, or presentations.
- Maintain project with budget guidelines.
- Analyzing current competitive technologies to determine best was to address requirements. Foster creativity and innovation in design solutions.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Manager.
- In the absence of the Engineering Manager, the Maintenance Manager will cover.

Engineering Manager must be self‑motivated, able to problem solve, detail‑oriented, and able to stay on task. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Must be a self‑starter and be able to accomplish a versatile and evolving workload.
- Excellent in all forms of communication.
- Skilled at PowerPoint design and ideation.
- Innovative, problem solver, flexible, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
- Self‑motivated, with the ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and adapt well to change.
- Must have excellent mathematical, statistical, and accounting skills. Must have a strong mechanical aptitude.
BS or MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering preferred.
5 years experience in food manufacturing in a maintenance or engineering role.
SALARY$120,000 - $135,000 USD
