As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will play a critical role in supporting Unified’s business operations during a period of major re-automation and transformation. Leveraging your deep technical expertise, you will help evaluate, select, implement, and support both new and existing business-critical systems, processes, and procedures.
Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the key administrator of day-to-day technical operations.
Act as the organization’s Microsoft Domain, Microsoft Azure, and Office 365 expert, driving improvements in performance, automation, and efficiency.
Perform system enhancements, configuration changes, and troubleshoot system issues to ensure proper functionality.
Assist with application design, system testing, deployment, and issue remediation.
Process Optimizaiton & Documentation
Collaborate with IT team members and departmental managers to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency
Document system requirements, design specifications, functional specifications, and operational procedures
Ensure processes and technology standards are consistently aligned across multiple business segments
Assist in change management processes, including testing, communication, and rollout.
Advanced Support & Customer Enablement
Serve as top-tier escalation support for the IT help desk team
Provide expert-level guidance, problem-solving, and consultation to internal customers
Ensure system stability and high levels of user satisfaction
Strategic & Project-Based Contributions
Anticipate implementation barriers and develop practical, innovative solutions.
Build detailed business cases for new software, enhancements, and strategic technology initiatives.
Contribute to the IT department’s strategy with a continuous improvement mindset.
Participate in project portfolio management and project delivery frameworks across IT.

Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field or equivalent work experience.
Industry certifications (ITIL, MCSA, MCSE, Azure, O365, VMware, AWS) preferred.
Technical Requirements
Collaborate with IT team members and departmental managers to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency
Minimum 5 years of experience with:
Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Microsoft domain technologies
Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Microsoft domain technologies
Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Intune, and other Office 365 technologies
VMware ESXi standalone hosts and vCenter clusters
Automation and scripting (Power Shell strongly preferred)
Strong understanding of:
Networking fundamentals and security best practices
Business workflows and opportunities for automation
System enhancement projects, configuration, and testing cycles
Intermediate to expert proficiency in:
Power Shell and scripting automation
Office 365 administration VMware ESXi and vCenter Azure and AWS cloud environments Google Drive and Dropbox enterprise environments Veeam/Rubrik backup systems SAN and NAS management
Skills & AbilitiesStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent process-mapping and documentation abilities (Visio).
Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and presentation.
