Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced CNC Mill Machinist with strong CNC programming , setup , and operation skills. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience programming multi-axis CNC mills and producing precision components from start to finish.
This is a first-shift, full-time position with competitive pay, a steady workflow, and a professional, team-oriented atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Program, set up, and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision metal components.
Create and edit programs using CAM software (Mastercam, Fusion 360, or similar).
Read and interpret blueprints , engineering drawings , and GD&T specifications .
Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy.
Collaborate with team members to optimize setups, tooling, and production processes.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications & Skills
5+ years of CNC machining experience, including setup and operation of CNC mills.
Strong understanding of CNC programming and G/M code .
Experience with multi-axis or 3+2 machining preferred.
Proficiency with CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Hypermill, Fusion 360).
Ability to read blueprints and work independently to meet tight tolerances.
Experience in a job shop or custom manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of inspection tools and measurement techniques.
Work Environment & Schedule
Climate-controlled shop
Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Occasional overtime available based on project demand.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
