Senior Thermoforming Setup Technician
Pay: $70,000–$110,000 per year Job Type: Full-time Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
We are looking for an experienced Senior Thermoforming Setup Technician to join our manufacturing team.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with thin-gauge roll-fed PET, APET, and
rPET
thermoforming and can independently handle mold changes, machine setup, troubleshooting, and production startup.

• Perform mold, tooling, and trim-tool changeovers.
• Set up and align molds, plug assists, trim tooling, rails, chains, and web paths.
• Adjust heaters, vacuum, air pressure, timing, and forming parameters.
• Start machines and bring production to the first good part.
• Troubleshoot web tracking, heating, material sag, and servo/drive issues.
• Maintain stable production and reduce scrap and downtime.
• Complete setup documentation.

• 3+ years of thermoforming setup/changeover experience.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PET, APET, and/or
  rPET .
• Ability to perform complete mold and trim-tool changeovers with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read setup sheets and
  tooling
  documentation.
• Experience with thermoforming machine brands/models is a plus.
