Sales Advisor

The Sales Advisor is usually the first person a customer talks to at AO Detail. This role owns incoming leads and walk-ins, explains PPF, ceramic coating, and window tint options in plain language, recommends the right package for each vehicle and budget, and books the job on the shop calendar. The Sales Advisor works closely with the install team to make sure every job is scoped correctly before it hits the bay.

• Respond to new leads from phone calls, web forms, and walk-ins within one business hour.
• Walk customers through PPF, ceramic coating, and window tint packages and help them choose the right fit for their vehicle and budget.
• Recommend relevant add-ons (full-front PPF, interior protection, maintenance kits) based on the customer's needs, not just the highest ticket.
• Prepare and send accurate quotes and invoices using the shop's CRM/POS system.
• Schedule appointments and keep the shop calendar organized to avoid overbooking install bays.
• Hand off clear, written job details to installers, including film/coating spec, panel scope, and any customer requests.
• Follow up with quoted customers who haven't booked within 3 business days.
• Update customers on job status and manage vehicle pickup/drop-off communication.
• Be on the sales floor and reachable by phone during all posted business hours; no unexplained absences from the desk.
• Never quote a service or price that hasn't been approved in the current price sheet.
• All customer promises (timelines, discounts, warranty terms) must be confirmed in writing in the job file.
• Maintain a clean, professional front-desk and customer waiting area at all times.
• Escalate any customer complaint to the shop manager the same day it occurs - do not let issues sit overnight.

• Lead response time: under 1 hour during business hours.
• Quote-to-booking conversion rate: 40% or higher.
• Average add-on/upsell attachment rate: 25% of booked jobs.
• Customer review score from advised jobs: 4.8+ average.
