We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable 3rd Shift, Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Pennsauken, NJ Service Center.

Matthews International is a world wide leader in casket manufacturing, providing the highest quality wood, metal and cremation caskets, as well as urns, memorial jewelry and other products to our funeral home customers. This position will be responsible for unloading and loading new caskets onto and off our vehicles. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparations for deliveries and providing valuable support in diverse warehouse activities.

This is an overnight, 3rd shift position. 11:30pm - 8am, Monday - Friday (off Friday morning, no weekends). Our Warehouse Associates can expect to work 40+ hours a week. This position will have a starting hourly pay rate of $19/hour.

• Loads and unloads materials into or from vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Prepares products for delivery prior to loading.
• Operates forklift successfully to assist in transfer of product.
• Scans product upon arrival and records data to maintain accurate inventory.
• Unloads product and places it in appropriate storage facility within warehouse.
• Pulls appropriate amount and type of product from warehouse based on shipping order.
• Maintains a clean warehouse; aware of potential safety hazards.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• 1+ years of previous warehouse experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work 8+ hour shifts being on your feet, walking, pushing, pulling products.
• Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting.

• Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk, hear and see.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold & heat, risk of electrical shock, and toxic or caustic chemicals.
