We are currently partnering with one of our favorite clients in their search for an Accounting Manager. As Accounting Manager you will be a key part of the management team and responsible for organizing, directing and controlling the accounting and reporting structure as well as safeguarding assets through maintaining a strong internal control environment.

- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Prepare, review, and interpret complex financial statements and reports for internal management and external stakeholders.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy of financial data.
- Lead the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Perform cash flow analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support organizational planning.
- Mentor and develop junior staff members in technical accounting concepts such as accrual accounting, double-entry bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial report writing.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in corporate accounting or public accounting environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in technical accounting standards including GAAP.
- Proficiency with advanced Excel functions for financial analysis and reporting.
- Experience working with multiple accounting software platforms.
- Skilled in mentoring team members to develop their technical skills in areas such as account reconciliation, journal entries, financial statement preparation, and audit support.
