• Prepare complex Federal, State, and Local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts, and exempt organizations
• Review mid‑level complexity tax filings — including individual, corporate, partnership, and trust returns — prepared by tax staff for accuracy and completeness
• Review and respond to tax authorities
• Provide tax planning and consultative services throughout the year, including projecting estimated taxes and providing recommendations and tax strategies
• Analyze trial balances and prepare year‑end adjusting entries
• Stay current on evolving tax laws and industry regulations

• 5+ years of experience in tax at a public accounting firm
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• CPA license, CPA candidate, or EA certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of current tax laws and ability to apply to clients in direct interaction
• Ability to manage multiple engagements, competing projects, and deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and proven innovative problem‑solving skills
• Excellent analytical and technical skills with mid‑level proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Lacerte is a plus
• Diverse range of experience in client size, industry, project hours, and types of work
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with ability to maintain client relationships
• Proactive and energetic team personality
• Experience completing Fin Cen forms and required foreign compliance disclosures is valuable
