Tax Senior/Staff Accountant - Poconos Region, Pennsylvania

A well‑established public accounting firm serving the Pocono Mountains region is seeking an experienced Tax Senior or Staff Accountant to join their growing team in Eastern Pennsylvania.

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns for a diverse client base.
• Perform bookkeeping services and maintain accurate financial records for clients.
• Prepare compiled financial statements and assist with audit engagements.
• Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted point of contact for tax matters.
• Research technical accounting and tax issues as needed.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 3-5+ years of experience in public accounting or similar environment.
• Strong technical skills in tax preparation, bookkeeping, and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with or exposure to audit procedures preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple client engagements.

• CPA license or CPA candidate actively pursuing licensure.

• Base Salary: $50,000-$70,000 (commensurate with experience).
