Automotive Bookkeeper

Jeff D'Ambrosio Auto Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Bookkeeper to join our team in Downingtown, PA. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and supporting the financial operations of our automotive dealership. • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports accurately and timely.
• Assist with payroll processing and tax filings as needed.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions related to automotive sales and services.
• Prepare financial reports and summaries to support management decision-making.
• Monitor budgets and identify discrepancies or issues for resolution.

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in the automotive or retail industry.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and accounting principles.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in accounting or finance are a plus.
