The Agency Bill Manager owns the agency bill book of business, serving as the primary point of contact between LIO and its agency partners on all billing and reconciliation matters. Unlike direct bill, agency bill reconciliation depends on close collaboration with agency accounting and back-office staff rather than automated drafting, making relationship management, training, and proactive communication essential to the role.
This position
reconciles account current statements, resolves billing discrepancies, manages collections and cash application for agency accounts, and drives process improvements that reduce reconciliation exceptions across the book.

Collections & Risk Management
- Tracks and follows up on outstanding balances, past-due items, and unremitted premium.
- Prepares aging reports and escalates delinquent accounts per collections procedures.
- Reviews and approves write-offs within authority limits per company policy.
Systems & Process
- Maintains agency bill setup, terms, and commission schedules in policy/billing systems.
- Serves as point of contact for agency bill setup and EFT/remittance configuration, coordinating with agencies on payment method changes.

- Participates in due diligence and UAT for new billing/cash application systems and current system/workflow upgrades or automation enhancements.
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensures compliance with state regulations and company policy on premium trust accounting.
- Supports month-end close by providing account current data and reconciliation summaries.
