As Plant Accountant, you'll be the go-to person for billing accuracy and customer account health across our concrete operations:

• Set up new customer accounts and manage credit applications
• Review daily concrete tickets and turn them into accurate invoices
• Handle weekly external ticket review, including tax determination and invoicing
• Keep an eye on customer credit limits and balances, flagging issues to leadership
• Prepare customer statements
• Investigate and resolve billing disputes with professionalism
• Take on additional projects alongside the Plant Accounting Manager

• A 4-year degree in business or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• 2+ years of administrative or accounting experience
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate across teams
• Sharp research and communication skills
• Sound judgment - this role calls for someone who can interpret and apply company policy independently, not just follow a checklist

A note on the role: while some tasks are administrative, this is not a clerical or data-entry position. We're looking for someone who brings discretion, independent judgment, and a problem-solving mindset to the table.

Reports to the Plant Accounting Manager.
