Staff Accountant

Base pay range

$27.00/yr - $33.00/yr

The Staff Accountant supports day-to-day accounting operations and ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role is responsible for journal entries, account reconciliations, month‑end close support, and financial reporting in compliance with GAAP and company policies.

• Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy
• Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Support preparation of financial statements and internal reports
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and intercompany accounts
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities as needed
• Support audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests
• Maintain compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company policies
• Identify and recommend process improvements and efficiencies
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Payroll, FP&A, Operations)

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1-3 years of accounting experience (public or corporate)
• Working knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
• Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables preferred)
• Experience with ERP systems (Net Suite, SAP, Oracle, Quick Books, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
