Staff Accountant

A growing organization in Berks County is adding a Staff Accountant due to an internal promotion. This role offers hands-on exposure across AR, AP, general ledger, and close activities, in addition to assisting with streamlining functions and building reports.

• Partner with the Accounting Manager to support day-to-day accounting operations
• Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, aging reviews, and customer follow-ups on outstanding balances
• Assist with accounts payable processing, aging review, and weekly payment runs
• Prepare and post general ledger entries as needed
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and assist with cash flow tracking and forecasting
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and reporting
• Calculate and prepare monthly and quarterly commission reports
• Provide general accounting support and ad hoc analysis as required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 1+ year of hands-on accounting experience
• Exposure to the manufacturing industry is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems
• Clear, professional communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
