Bookkeeper Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, performing bank reconciliations, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Process and record accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare and issue invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Process deposits and cash receipts.
• Assist with payroll processing and payroll-related recordkeeping.
• Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close activities.
• Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Maintain vendor and customer records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Support audits and provide documentation as requested.
• Assist with administrative duties and special projects as needed.
