Accounts Payable Analyst

Belle Vernon, PA 15012 | $60,000–$70,000 annually

• Review, validate, and process vendor invoices using automated AP and AI-driven invoice processing systems.

• Monitor AI processing performance and identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency.

• Identify and escalate system errors, exceptions, and processing issues.

• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, duplicate payments, and vendor account issues.

• The AP Analyst will reconcile vendor statements and accounts.

• Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve outstanding issues and obtain corrected invoices.

• Track unresolved invoice discrepancies and provide regular updates to the AP Supervisor.

• The AP Analyst will analyze AP data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.

• Assist with testing and implementing new automation tools and finance technologies.

• The AP Analyst will maintain process documentation and support internal audits.

• Ensure eligible early payment discounts are taken.

• Previous accounts payable or general accounting experience.

• Experience with automated invoice processing systems preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable working with technology and identifying opportunities to improve processes.

• Ability to research discrepancies and manage multiple priorities..

• Ability to work collaboratively with internal departments, vendors, and management.
