Contract Administrator About the JobAn organized, detail-oriented
Contract Administrator to join our fast-growing and dynamic team.
This position will focus on maintaining state contract vehicles for the organization, oversee pricing for the organization related to state contracts, and submit reporting on a monthly basis to contract vehicles. The expectation for this employee is to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM –5 PM, butmay work remotely on an as-needed basis.
This position is one we hold in high regard in order to provide the level of service excellence our customers expect and deserve. Specific duties to include:
- Submit monthly activity reporting to agencies on behalf of the organization for various contracts.
- Work with accounting and finance teams to ensure appropriate payments for contracts as needed.
- Maintain product databases across all applications, including pricing related to negotiated contracts.
- Working with vendors to assure execution of contract pricing.
- Assist sales teams with quoting process related to contracts.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Review purchase order claims and contracts for compliance with company policies.
- Resolve vendor grievances or claims against suppliers promptly and professionally.
Ensure accurate receipt and documentation of delivered equipment in accounting software. - Ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials to project sites or customers.
- Monitor shipping performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement best practices for procurement and inventory management.
- Provide support for special projects and process improvement initiatives as needed.
- Oversee the upload of items and maintaining accuracy of system pricing.
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
- Prior TIPS and 791 Co-Op experience preferred but not required.
- 1+ years of experience in purchasing, inventory management, or logistics.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally in both written and verbal manner to employees and customers.
- Must possess a positive attitude and be willing to interact with customer, co-workers, and other personnel at all times
