Corporate Buyer Raw Materials

As Corporate Buyer Raw Materials, you are responsible and accountable for ensuring the availability of the assigned raw materials in 13 plants, mainly based in Europe, of the group.

• You manage the assigned raw materials portfolio, including extending and optimizing the supplier base and establishing a proper risk management by defining corresponding strategies to ensure material availability.
• You plan, prepare and execute the negotiations to achief best TCO for the company. You also conclude framework agreements with suppliers and make sure that our factories have a secured supply with contingency plans.
• Using and developing existing sourcing processes and structures, you ensure internal & external alignment that supports the growth of our business.
• Throughout the year, you prepare and support different procurement/financial reportings, also involving the monitoring and evaluation of volume and price developments of raw materials in the group and markets.
• This role reports to the Corporate Procurement Manager Raw Materials (Biscuits & Bakery) and is based in Baar, Switzerland.

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:

• A relevant academic background with a Master’s degree in Economics or equivalent.
• Valid experience in strategic procurement and sourcing negotiations within raw materials or commodities. We aim for a minimum of 5 years, looking for an autonomous, independent and highly capable professional.
• Fluency in English. We consider profiency in (Swiss) German and French as a strong plus.
• Next to strong negotiating skills, you also show a pro-active, entrepreneurial approach to your responsibilities, with a focus on reliability, communications and autonomy.
• Strong analytical skills, combined with accuracy and project management skills.
