- Determining production and operational requirements using our ERP system
- Requesting and negotiating quotations with suppliers
- Monitoring inventory levels and stock transactions
- Tracking deadlines and costs related to purchase orders
- Managing prices and contractual terms
- Managing inventory in accordance with our procurement principles
- Reviewing and maintaining master data and planning data
- Continuous improvement of workflows in line with our Lean philosophy
- Completed commercial or technical basic education, as well as further training as a Certified Purchasing Specialist (federal diploma)
- At least 3 years of experience in purchasing and in a comparable role
- Solid knowledge of ERP systems and confident use of MS Office
- Experience in negotiating with suppliers and preparing contracts
- Analytical thinking with a strong strategic orientation
- Excellent German and good English skills
- A team player with a high degree of responsibility, strong communication skills, and a proactive, independent working style
