About the role:Contract Buyer opportunity. You will take an active part in supporting our team working globally to achieve a net zero emissions environment. You will report to the Supply Chain Operations Team Lead and work in our Westinghouse New Stanton, PA site. This is a hybrid position.
Key Responsibilities:- Support our teams to promote a culture where a high quality and teamwork is the norm
- Purchase goods, materials and components following specified cost, quality, and delivery targets
- Manage the procure to pay process from engagement through to Purchase Order issuance and ensuring payment
- Process Purchase Requisition s, Request for Quotation, and create Purchase Orders
- Monitor confirmations of Purchase Orders from the suppliers
- Manage on time deliveries
- Resolve issues related to Purchase Orders and Invoices
- Improve cost savings and reductions
- Collaborate with your internal customers, suppliers and company partners
- Report your achievements on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Support our further development by identification and implementation of improvements
- Open mind to development with focus in areas of continuous improvement
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- No experience required,
- 3 years in a corporate environment, in operational areas (supply chain, nuclear or technical areas).
- SAP experience preferred

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $26/hour to $30/hour.
